In fact, there are a ton of them, 16,000 of them to be exact.
Following a thorough examination of the product, I've written an in-depth Ted's Woodworking review.
Ted's 16,000 woodworking plans have piqued my interest for quite some time a while back.
When I first saw it, of course, it seemed too good to be true as with most of these types of products.
Even though I consider myself an above-average woodworker and have my woodworking website, I wanted to give an honest review on Ted's Woodworking.
So I figured that I would look at this product through the eyes of a beginner or novice woodworker even though I already own this product.
Two years ago, when I first came across Ted's, my curiosity got the best of me.
I took a chance and purchased it. They offer a refund, so I figured if it was utterly useless, I could get my money back.
Ted's Woodworking too Good to be True?
No, not at all. It is very good. It's not perfect, but it's adequate.
Some of the plans are mediocre, and I think they have them in there to hype the sales pitch up with "16,000" plans.
Then there are some excellent plans, and some are just plain old, okay.
It's not surprising that it's not perfect.
It's a huge collection and mixture of various plans for various products or projects.
If you purchase Ted's Woodworking, you should approach it with the following mindset.
Accept the fact that you will not like every plan they have.
You will most likely not want to build 60 percent of the project for whatever reason.
Most of us woodworkers only make the things that interest us or if we are selling our projects.
However, if you build a couple of the plans that you like and are of reasonable quality, the expense of this digital collection of Ted's Woodworking plans will be well worth your money and time.

Furthermore, I like the fact that as new plans are added to Ted's Woodworking monthly.
I get access to them as they are adding new plans & projects every couple of months, so this is a win win for me in my book.
Ted's Woodworking just a Collection of Copied Plans?
Some online commenters (trolls lol) have claimed that Ted's Woodworking plans are blatantly copied from various sources and compiled into a massive digital "plans product."
To put it nicely, they claim Ted's Woodworking is a massive copyright thief.
Is Ted's Woodworking a product that violates copyright (or is it a scam)?
Personally, I don't think so. I won't jump to any conclusions.
It could be any digital product that is sold online could possibly be.
I am aware that this product has been available for years, so it would have been taken down by now if it were a massive copyright rip-off.
Of course, just because a product hasn't been shut down doesn't mean it's not infringing on someone's copyright.
But, to be honest, I can't say one way or the other.
Ted may have gotten a license to sell each plan, or the plans may be in the public domain, or Ted may have created some of the designs.
I'm not sure, but I've never researched with a fine-toothed comb (who has time for that)?
Who is Ted's Woodworking for, and who should buy it?
Ted's is for those who enjoy do-it-yourself projects.
The majority of the plans are labeled "beginner," "intermediate," or "advanced," which is important.
Even if you've never crafted anything or done any woodworking before, this is a good place to start because beginner projects are available.
You can construct a vast range of projects for your home.

At the end of the day, if you do the occasional DIY project or dabble in woodworking, this is an excellent set of plans to have on hand.

I haven't counted the plans to see if there are 16,000, but there are SOOOOO many of them that it will blow your mind.
Fortunately, they're well-organized, so you'll be able to discover what you're looking for quickly.

You get my drift. Clearly, some plans are nicer than others.
Like I said earlier, some plans are so so, but clearly, there are more better plans than bad ones.
How is Ted's Woodworking Delivered?
Ted's Woodworking is available for download as a PDF file.
It's a set of PDF files that you can download (see plan categories above).
However, the DVD edition is available for an additional $19.95 (I did not pay $19.95 for the DVD version).
So I can't tell you about what you get in that you can read it here on the sales page.

Ted's Woodworking could benefit anyone with a passion for the craft, whether you're just starting in the woodworking industry or simply looking for some different woodworking projects to build. It's chock-full of projects with detailed instructions that include everything you need to get started, including cutting lists, materials lists, step-by-step plans, and tips and tricks to help you along the way.
Overall, I'm very pleased with Ted's Woodworking's quality, and I highly recommend it!
